Prof. Deb O'Bannon

Prof. O'Bannon is on the Civil & Mechanical Engineering faculty of the School of  Computing and Engineering here on the UMKC campus.

Dr. O'Bannon is a member of the American Association for Engineering Education.

Prof. O'Bannon is leading the field measurements of stormwater BMPs/rain gardens on an USEPA demonstration project titled, "National Demonstration of Advanced Drainage Concepts Using Green Solutions for CSO Control" which is a consortium of TetraTech, University of Alabama, Mid-America Regional Council, and Bergmann Associates.  The project is coordinating closely with KCMO's Water Services Department.  The demonstration area is in Kansas City's Marlborough neighborhood.  The students involved in the project are: Yanan Ma, Mike Scott, Josh Arnold, Priya Iyengar, Sarah Fjell, P.E., Jason Nall, P.E., Erich Schmitz, P.E., Randall Herrington and Jules Stimach.

Dr. O'Bannon lives an idyllic existence on a farm in western Missouri.
