Mei is a Ph. D. student of the Department of Chemistry at UMKC. She received her B.S. degree of Chemistry from Nanjing University, in China in 2005. She then worked in an HPLC lab in Nanjing University for one year. She started working in Dr. Oyler’s group in January 2007.
